Welcome to GVSD Special Needs Student Transportation
Students currently receiving2023-24 Transportation are eligible to apply for continued service to the same school for 2024-25, regardless of catchment. If transitioning to a middle or high school, students should be attending their English catchment school. If this is not the case, please email Transportation: Transportation@sd61.bc.ca
Please carefully fill out the Medical Info section of the application form (no medical info required for BC Transit pass application).
Families requesting busing for after school care/respite should enter this information in the alternate addressrequest boxes (found under Routing/Scheduling Information). If your child resides at two addresses, select both parents living apart in the Student Information section, and fill in the requested information.
Eligibility for service will be reviewed/decided by a District Administrator.

Welcome to GVSD Regular Program Student Transportation
Please have your proof of address available for upload onto the application form, or email proof to Transportation if having difficulties with the upload. The Registration Guide link on the form, provides examples of proof of address, but Transportation only requires one document. No drivers licenses, please.
Spectrum students living in the Highlandsarea should apply by selecting the Regular Program School Busoption
All Other Spectrum students students should apply by selecting the BC Transit Pass option*
Esquimalt students should apply by selecting the BC Transit Pass option*
Students living at two addresses may be eligible for service on two different routes/stops if both addresses are in catchment (select Both Parents living apart and enter info requested)
*Once the application process closes, Transportation will make final decisions around whether servicing Esquimalt and Spectrum Watkiss/Thetis Vale students with school buses or BC Transitpasses. Families will not have a choice between a BC Transit pass or school busing.
